Troubleshooting common issues

Solutions for common Taskora issues including login problems, sync errors, extension conflicts, and performance troubleshooting.

We get it—when something isn't working, it's frustrating. This guide covers the most common issues Taskora users encounter and how to resolve them.


I can't log in



If you're unable to sign in to your Taskora account, try these steps:

  1. Confirm you're using the correct email address associated with your account.

  2. Check that Caps Lock is off and retype your password carefully.

  3. If you've forgotten your password, select Forgot Password on the sign-in page to receive a reset link.

  4. Clear your browser cache and cookies, then try again.

  5. If none of these steps work, contact support at [email protected].


Tasks are not saving


If tasks are disappearing or changes aren't being saved, check the following:

  1. Ensure you have a stable internet connection, as Taskora requires connectivity to sync changes.

  2. Look for a Save or Update button on the task form and select it before navigating away.

  3. If you're using the mobile app, pull down to refresh and verify the latest changes appear.

  4. If the problem persists, sign out and sign back in.


I'm not receiving email notifications


If you expect email notifications but they're not arriving, check these items:

  1. Check your spam or junk folder and mark any Taskora emails as safe.

  2. Verify your notification preferences in SettingsNotifications and ensure email notifications are enabled for the relevant events.

  3. Confirm that your email address is correct in SettingsProfile.

  4. Ask your IT department if emails from gettaskora.com are being blocked at the domain level.


I can't assign a task to a team member


If the assignee field is missing or the team member doesn't appear in the list, check the following:

  1. Only users who have been added to your workspace can be assigned tasks.

  2. Go to SettingsTeam Members to verify the person has been invited and has accepted the invitation.

  3. If they appear as Pending, ask them to check their inbox for the invitation email.

  4. Workspace Admins can resend invitations from the Team Members settings page.


The page is not loading or is slow


If Taskora pages are loading slowly or not at all, try these solutions:

  1. Refresh the page with Ctrl+R (Windows) or Cmd+R (Mac).

  2. Clear your browser cache and cookies.

  3. Try a different browser such as Chrome, Firefox, or Edge.

  4. Disable browser extensions that may interfere with web apps.

  5. Check your internet speed using a tool like fast.com.

  6. If the issue affects all users in your organization, check our status page for any ongoing incidents.


I accidentally deleted a task


Deleted tasks are moved to Trash. To recover a deleted task:

  1. Select the Trash icon in the left navigation menu.

  2. Locate the task you want to restore.

  3. Select Restore to move it back to its original location.

  4. Trash items are permanently deleted after 30 days, so act quickly if you need to recover something.


Reports are showing no data


If your reports appear empty, check these items:

  1. Make sure the date range selected in the report filters matches the period when tasks were active.

  2. Check that you have the correct project or team selected in the filter options.

  3. If you recently upgraded or changed your workspace plan, reports may take up to 24 hours to populate.

  4. Admins should verify that relevant team members have tasks assigned to them within the selected date range.
